The Sugar Land Skeeters take advantage of late error to beat the Long Island Ducks, 5-4

A walk-off error from an Aaron Bates hit brought home the winning run for the Sugar Land Skeeters (3-0) in a 5-4 victory over the Long Island Ducks (0-3) in 11 innings at Constellation Field, Sugar Land on Saturday.  While it was not a display of power like the 2 previous nights, the Skeeters put together a great team effort by recording 9 hits, while drawing 10 walks and only striking out 6 times.

Roy Corcoran recorded his first win of the year for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Corcoran struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits. The Skeeters went through 7 pitchers over the 11 innings while the Ducks used up 8. Connor Graham was charged with his first loss of the year for the Long Island Ducks.  He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.

Attendance: 6141

HITTING STREAKS:
