Barnstormers take 1-0 lead in Championship Series


Pollok allows no runs to lead the Lancaster Barnstormers past the Long Island Ducks 5-1

Dwayne Pollok held the Long Island Ducks (3-3) scoreless for six innings to boost the Lancaster Barnstormers (4-0) to a 5-1 victory.
Pollok struck out five and allowed two walks and four hits.
Ryan Harvey racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.
Kraig Binick reached base three times in the game for the Long Island Ducks. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the seventh and ninth innings.
Randy Keisler ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
