Lancaster vs. York - Game 2 results (after the rain)

Gailen leads the Lancaster Barnstormers to 8-4 win over the York Revolution

Blake Gailen clubbed two home runs to carry the Lancaster Barnstormers (2-0) to an 8-4 win over the York Revolution (0-2) at Clipper Magazine.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the seventh, with four lead changes.
The Lancaster Barnstormers finally managed to grab the lead after a strong seventh inning. A hit by pitch scored Gilberto Mejia and gave the Lancaster Barnstormers the lead for good.
The York Revolution couldn't get anything going as long as Tim Hamulack was on the mound. Hamulack held the York Revolution hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Ronnie Morales improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Morales struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.
Mike Benacka ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
The Lancaster Barnstormers were sparked by Gailen and Mejia, who teamed up for three hits and five RBIs.
