3 consecutive losses...1 game to go

The last 3 games have not gone well for the home-town boys and now there is just 1 game left in the season scheduled for Sunday evening at 6:05pm.
Friday night's game ended with a Revolution 5-3 win. The Revs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning. Sugar Land tied the game at 2-2 in the 6th inning when Ofilio Castro blasted a home run with Josh Pressley (single) on base.

With the game still tied, Roberto Giron came in to pitch for the 8th inning but got hammered by giving up 3 runs on 2 hits, with 2 runs coming in on a home run by David Espinosa. Ofilio Castro singled and worked his way to 3rd base before being singled in by Octavio Martinez to make it 5-3.

Hitting Streaks:

Saturday night's game had a familiar face on the mound, just on the wrong team. Derrick Gordon took the bump for York and faced off against Micheal Nix for Sugar Land.

After falling behind 2-0 in the first 2 innings, the Skeeters got a run on the board when Manny Mejia doubled, bringing in Dionys Cesar (single, stolen base) to make it 2-1 after 2 innings.

In the 6th inning, with the help of an error, were able to score 1 run on 2 hits to make it 3-1. To make it even worse, the Revs score 2 more runs in the top of the 9th inning to make it 5-1...Revs win.

Despite getting 8 hits, the Skeeters could not get any of them to produce run and have now lost 3 games in a row.

Hitting Streaks:
Ofilio Castro (4)
Jason Lane (3)
Octavio Martinez (3)
Manny Mejia (3)

The final game of the season will be played Sunday night at 6:05pm. I will be there...hope to see a full stadium!!
