Untouchable Attendance Record?

The Sugar Land Skeeters have set a record that may never be duplicated, or even approached, by another team in the ALPB.

With this being the Inaugural Season for Skeeters baseball, there were lots of questions about what was about to happen...the most often asked was "Could the Houston area support another baseball team with the Astros being so close?". The surrounding area answered that question with a resounding "YES!". With only 70 games being played at Constellation Field, an astounding 465,511 people attended the games for an average attendance of 6,650 per game.

Two of the most notable nights in the Inaugural Season are when Roger Clemens made his first start after 5 years of being out of baseball and when he got his second start while his son, Koby Clemens, caught his pitching. A sold out crowd of 7,724 saw Roger's first start but a Constellation Field record crowd of 8,597 saw his second game with son Koby catching.
