Skeeters drop GM 3 & GM 4...tie series

While the Skeeters where able to compile 11 hits in game 3, there were only able to put up 2 runs while leaving 9 runners on base to drop game 3 with a 7-2 score.
Game 4 of the series was not any better for Sugar Land. They were only able to get 6 hits and failed to get any runs on the board...again leaving 9 runners on base.

Tim Redding gave up his first runs as a Skeeter when he had a 3-run home run blasted off of him by Kyle Haines, his 1st HR of the season. Redding would go 6 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, only striking out 3 batters.

Dustin Richardson came in for relief in the 7th inning. He went just 1.1 innings, gave up 4 runs on 3 hits and walked 2 batters. Garrett Parcell came in in the bottom of the 8th to get the final 2 outs.

Lancaster wins 8-0!

Hitting Streaks:
Ofilio Castro (8)
Matt Hagen (3)
Dionys Cesar (2)

With the loss, Sugar Land is now 5.5 games out of 1st place with 29 games left in the season.

The Skeeters now come home for a 6-game series against the Bridgeport Bluefish. Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few days, you already know that Roger Clemens will be pitching for the Skeeters in Saturday's game. Please keep checking back here for updates on that game as well as all of the other activity.
